In 1984 we started a 100 acre farm which included beef cattle, Clydesdales, mini horses and mini donkeys.  What a great way to retire.
In 1993, I met my first Shiloh Shepherd at Windsong's Shilohs.  That was a day I would never forget.  In 1994, my first Shiloh Shepherd came to live with us and our lives changed forever.  CJ's Lobo Amado De Windsong was a huge gray sable plush male with the temperament that most only dream of.  The perfect dog.
We loved him, showed him in conformation shows, did obedience and therapy dog work and gave him a farm to run.  He was the love of our lives. 
We were then blessed with Poca (Shiloh's Matoaka Pocahantas), then Abigail Atherton from the Cranes, followed by a beautiful girl from Lobo and Poca named CJ's Tawnee.  From there we bred true to those bloodlines, adding Rebel from Mason Dixon Shilohs, Diablo from Desert Shilohs, old bloodline foundation Shilohs with the Sweet Sabrina and Lucas Von Shiloh lines, Shenandoah, Bay Breeze and if course the famous Windsong Trinka/Shep lines.
Our puppies are born and raised in my great room and temperament tested before they leave for their new homes.  The temperaments that we strive for are sweet, loyal, smart and kind.  A large percentage of our puppies have achieved therapy dog titles and are working daily with their owners to help children, elderly and hospitalized people.  We have Niki who sits quietly and listens to children read, and that has given her the title of Read Dog.  We have Cadie who can understand several languages and entertains anyone who will watch.  We also have many other puppies bearing the CJ name who work for their owners in Search and Rescue and Service Dog status.
We have been breeding many years, with our first litter in 1995.  Our reason for breeding is to give back to our owners, some of the happiness that we have received.  If you look above at Lobo's eyes, you will see the love and intelligence that we strive for.
